-I want to continue working on the video documentation of Two Temple Place with roal opera ballet artist Lara Turk: interview and possible record additional dancers-mothers. I want to edit the short film and use it to help dancers get better retirement conditions
- Inspired by the Repeat After Me exhibition in Islington, brought from Poland after being exhibited at the polish pavilion in venice biennale in 2024 (https://labiennale.art.pl/en/wystawy/repeat-after-me-ii/), a video installation with ukrainian civilian refugees speaking of the war through the sounds of weapons they remember, then inviting the audience to repeat after them. The Ukrainian Open Group collective use the karaoke format. I would like to collaborate on a giant lamp project with refugee women and children, centered around therapeutic collective dance, singing and and sewing experience, helping them to cope but also selling lamps made by them, sharing the proceeds with charities and ngos focused on helping their mental health

Email proposal:
Dear [Organisation Name / Team],
My name is [Your Name], and I am a [designer / artist / creative practitioner] currently developing a socially driven creative project in the UK.
I am reaching out to explore the possibility of collaborating with your organisation. I am creating a collection of handcrafted paper lamps and would love to involve women from refugee or migrant backgrounds—particularly those who have experienced displacement due to war or conflict (for example from Ukraine, Iran, or other regions).
The idea is to organise small, supportive workshops where participants would be invited to:
• take part in a calm, creative making process
• learn simple construction and stitching techniques
• contribute to the creation of unique lamps designed and formed by me
The finished pieces would then be exhibited and sold online. A percentage of the profits would be directed toward financial support for the participating women (either directly or via your organisation, depending on what is most appropriate).
My intention is for this project to be:
• empowering rather than extractive
• creatively fulfilling
• respectful of participants’ time, skills, and wellbeing
I would be very happy to discuss formats that best suit your community, such as pilot workshops, co-hosted sessions, or integration into existing programmes.
If this sounds of interest, I would love the opportunity to arrange a short call or meeting at your convenience.
Thank you very much for your time and for the important work you do.
Warm regards,
[Your Name]
