FRIEZE – WHAT I LIKED

FAIRPLAY, which I really liked because it was individual artists selling ther work and interacting with potential clients, prices were visible and not over the top, it generally felt much more accessible

The second image from the right reminded me of those fiberoptics bird nests found in the abandoned areas in Ukraine, covered in fibreoptic cables from drones.

Highlight of the fair: meeting Curtis Holder!!! And his fantastic talk about the art he makes not being really his to claim, but also the models, the universes, and whoever is looking & experiencing it

As well as hanging out with some of my Leytonstone art cohort, finding so many of our community there was heartwarming and made the whole experience more personal, less businesslike

FRIEZE – I’m not sure what to say. The mix of stuff so completely allover the place, no prices, no idea what sold and according to some sources everything sold while according to others nothing.

Did this actually happen? Did I make it all up? I think I might need time to digest it all it just felt like a mad whirlwind of visual information and I am still in overload.
