DREAMS

55:41 that’s true for everybody the last little part of the dream is where the energy is trying to go. If we think of the dream as taking energyin the metaphor in the picture that is the dream what is the energy that that picture is releasing if it has a chance if you don’t work on it it will never be released it’s just a dead letter if you don’t use the material. Because the metaphor comes out of the body is transformed into an image of the brain if you don’t work with that you’re throwing the gold out. And the healing power is in the metaphor.

The dream speaks like a great poet, it does bringing together disparate images to reach secret depths of unsuspected feeling

Exactly so that the image brings together the imagination. T

This the seeing the hearing all these senses are brought into play and that’s true with trauma.

You can cover it up [Music] but sooner or later you have to and be strong enough to endure the impact of imagination intelligence and feeling, the totality

1:19:57 in my own life as in everyone’s life there have been many little deaths. When i look back on these experiences each one of them made way for a new life

I always think to myself that when my children were born, I died. And for a long time I felt deep sadness whenever I remembered that. But I have recently realised that it was the old me that died to make space for the new me to be born and that new me is currantly in the process of becoming, besoming something else. And that is very exciting.

MY DREAM ABOUT 8689

I woke up today after having had the craziest dream. I travelled in time, with a teenage girl, to a very far away future, to the time when in reality I probably won’t be alive anymore.

A dream where I time travelled to 8689 and there was Denzel Washington sitting on a sofa and he was almost entirely bionic except for his head and chest and he didn’t have any feeling in his body. He had this long robotic white arm that he showed me and explained he couldn’t feel anything when he touched someone with it. The only place where he had a feeling was his face and he could feel something when he was kissing someone those someone sitting next to him and he started kissing her on the cheek desperately and on the face and everyone on the face one kiss after another it was a girl from 2026 who came there with me and she was very surprised to see these actions. I also remember his hair was partially grey partially black a mixture that usually only happens after 40. I wondered if the dream was a combination of Laurie’s crit where we talked about his dilemma related to his paintings and the subjects of his work as well as the fact I recently watched all the Back to the Future movies with my son. But the thing mosti striking was the lack of feeling in the entire body and the kissing, which seemed to generate the stongest surge of energy through the body, I could feel what the bionic Denzel was feeling and I was griefing the fact that nowhere else in the body nothing could be felt. I wonder if this is related to lack of
