Creativity is what makes pattern of the Mess.
Testimony of lived experience, acknowledging the limitations of it, unlocking the barrier.
Being an artist comes from the frustration with your ancestors/past and things they were not able to achieve you hope to achieve for them. My story: immigrant grandmother great grandmother from Belarus area (Kresy), moving to outskirts of Warsaw i hope of a better life for her family, my grandmother moving to Warsaw with my mom in hope for a better life for my mum, my mum pushing me out of Poland as soon as polsih people were able to travel, pushing me to go to the west, in hopes of a better life here for me. My daughter being born in London, but life in Poland now seems better than anywhere else in Europe so me potentially wanting to go back but worried she will never forgive me.
If you can check your drive to success against people you trust how can we explore the difference between the act of seeing and listening.

This one came to me during the sound workshop and talking about the ASMR and thinking about the recording my daughter and my husband made, which I have used during my exhibition. I would like to repeat that with the Matrescence/Triptych/Three Fates paintings and have a qr code which takes each person to a sound recording connected to my painting. It might be my daughter reading for The Maiden or asmr recording, for Mother me or my mum, for The Crone my grandmother’s voice from the month before her death conversations
