I was astonished to see how well the lacquered painting looked. The surface was absolutely smooth and covered completely on both sides,, and looked pretty much indestructible. It was good to see it worked on the inside as well as on the outside.
The challenges:
-expensive, hard to do every time I need a painting varnished
-difficult to tell how it will react with the sun. over time. Will it yellow?
Things to explore:
-role play metal figures lacquers
-epoxy and airbrush
-natural resin? That will always remain yellow
