KUKLA – legs from wicker, Koniakow lace knickers from my SS 2009 Alterfolk collection, mountain shoes on platforms from the same collection, belly and head from wicker chaos balls made curing the workshop, paper or lace torso, lace face veil cover on the head and “goralska chusta” on the head
Inside the PUPPET=KUKLA a bluetooth speaker playing folk pieces with women voices singing sadly by Warsaw Village Band(Kapela ze Wsi Warszawa) and potentially a bluetooth rechargeable light inside the belly
The idea is that Mother is like a puppet – expected to behave as the society norms dictate, expected to be absolutely devoted to her children forgetting her own needs and wants, so busy she has no time to even think what her needs and wants are, overwhelmed with responsibility, tired, exhausted, the body taking the toll, and as a result becoming a puppet without the will of her own
