There were many things absolutely fantastic about this exhibition and funnily for me personally they were not Frida’s actual paintings. I did not expect to see pieces by the artists I;ve been researching and reading about and I was very positively surprised to see by Judy Chicago, Kiki Smith and Catherine Opie, Carrie Mae Weems and Guerilla Girls in there and to see the connection of what I’m writing about in my Research Paper with the works presented.
